So. I am home on a Friday night. When all my friends are out celebrating a 21st birthday. Writing a paper on Plato and Socratic Irony. On Friday night. WRITING A PAPER. Understandably, it was difficult for me to find my happy thought.
Until I found THIS: (As a preview, the first sentence includes the words “the best song ever about particle physics.”)
Background: John Green wrote Looking for Alaska, only my favorite book of all time. Then he showed up in a video that my favorite YouTube vlogger made and Charlie (my favorite vlogger) said that he has his own YouTube channel with his brother (who apparently sings songs about physics?) so of course I clicked right over there and watched every possible video (PROCRASTINATION) which is when I found what you just watched. That’s when I realized that my favorite author is hilariously funny and neurotic and is most definitely the love of my life but is already grown and married with a child so WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?
I guess just watch every single one of his videos in existence and think about how cool it makes ME that I managed to choose the coolest person ever as my favorite author. Yes.
